HP stretched their remember of lithium-ion batteries for their laptops on Tuesday because a batteries can overheat and are during risk of causing browns or fire, according to a remember notice from a U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC).
There have been 8 new reports of battery packs in a U.S. overheating, melting or charring, HP pronounced in a notice. Those reports enclosed one teenager repairs and dual reports of skill repairs that totaled $1,100.

The association is recalling 78,500 units in further to another 50,000 units they removed in Jan 2018.
The batteries were sole during retailers national and online along with computers and mobile workstations from Dec 2015 by Apr 2018 and cost between $300 and $4,000.
The batteries were also sole alone from Dec 2015 and Dec 2018 for between $50 and $90.

The lithium-ion batteries were used for HP blurb cover computers and mobile workstations including: HP ProBooks (64x G2 and G3 series, 65x G2 and G3 series, 4xx G4 series), HPx360 (310 G2), HP Pavilion x360 11 in. Notebook PC, HP 11 Notebook PC and HP ZBook (17 G3, and Studio G3) mobile workstations.
They were also sole as deputy batteries for those products, as good as a HP ZBook Studio G4 mobile workstation, HP ProBook 4xx G5 series, HP ENVY 15 and HP Mobile Thin Clients (mt21, mt22, and mt31).
