The association behind frozen, ready-to-eat pig and beef gravy equipment used in Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen gravy has released a remember for over 35,000 pounds of a product over concerns that it might be infested with cosmetic material.
Fairmont Foods, Inc., of Minnesota, pronounced that they had perceived a news of a consumer who had found a square of soothing open cosmetic in a product, triggering a recall. Impacted products, that are labeled “Popeyes LOUISIANA KITCHEN PORK TASSO AND GROUND BEEF GRAVY,” were shipped to Popeyes locations in Louisiana.

According to a remember notice posted on a USDA’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) website, impacted products are finished in 45-lb cases containing 9 5-lb bags, and have an investiture series “EST. 2WM.” The equipment were constructed on May 2, 2019, and while a FSIS has not perceived any additional complaints or reports of damage or illness associated it a recall, it is propelling restaurants to drop a product.
