The Oklahoma City Thunder have traded Russell Westbrook to a Houston Rockets for Chris Paul in an exchange of star point guards that reunites Westbrook with former teammate James Harden in Houston, according to mixed reports.
In further to Paul, a Thunder also are getting first-round picks in 2024 and 2026, and a right to barter first-rounders in dual other seasons. The trade was initial reported by ESPN.
Neither group had strictly announced a trade as of Thursday night, though Rockets owners Tilman Fertitta told Fox 26 Houston that a understanding had been concluded to.
