When it strike theaters 25 years ago, on Jul 6, 1994, Forrest Gump not usually primed Tom Hanks for his second uninterrupted Best Actor Oscar win though valid him to be one of Hollywood’s many bankable and reputable actors. His roles in films like Toy Story, Saving Private Ryan and Cast Away usually cemented that reputation.
To symbol a film’s anniversary, Us Weekly is looking behind during Hanks’ best performances, including his tools in Sleepless in Seattle and You’ve Got Mail, both of that saw him romancing Meg Ryan.
