LeAnn Rimes got some new elementary faith-based ink. But a nation singer’s new “tiny tattoo” caused a bit of a stir among her fans online.

Rimes, who rose to stardom during only 13 years aged and is now 36, is no foreigner to controversy, though this is a new one. She got “god’s work” tattooed in cursive on her arm, all in lowercase, a new trend among celebrities removing minimalist tattoos. And it isn’t her initial one. She has 10, though they’re all flattering small, including her father Eddie Cibrian’s initial initial on her ring finger.
But her new ink, finished by tattoo artist Daniel Winter, who goes by Winter Stone, came underneath glow after Rimes posted about it on Instagram.
“God should be capitalized,” one fan wrote. Another added: “It’s God. Not god. FYI.”
“I luv it though God is GOD! God should have a collateral G,” another added.

While a singer-songwriter didn’t respond directly to a controversy, she gave a black heart emoji to one of a comments ancillary her.
“Some are indicating out to LeAnn that God is spelled with a collateral G, not a tiny g. Although there is one Truth, remember everyone’s interpretation of a law is different. In everyone’s mind theirs is a genuine truth. That’s how a mind works,” @citygenesis wrote. “We bond to information that make us feel good, and it is digested into a faith system.”
